The Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang, wishes Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the Georgian people a happy 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and Georgia.
According to Li Keqiang, over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, China-Georgia relations have maintained sound and stable development.
"On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the People's Republic of China and Georgia, on behalf of the Chinese government and in my own name, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to you, as well as Georgian government an people.
Over the past 30 years since the establishment of our diplomatic ties, China-Georgia relations have maintained sound and steady development. The two sides have enhanced political trust continuously, made solid progress in pragmatic cooperation in various fields, with people-to-people and cultural exchanges increasingly strengthened.
I would like to work together with you and take the 30th anniversary of our diplomatic ties as an opportunity to continue deepen our cooperation of mutual benefit in various fields, enrich the connotation of China-Georgia relations and friendship and benefit our two countries and peoples.

    At the meeting held in New York, dignitaries discussed the prospects of further advancing the existing cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
    The Prime Minister of Georgia noted that the Czech Republic has always been a strong supporter of Georgia’s foreign policy priorities and it is gratifying that the intensity of bilateral visits has increased significantly in recent years, which emphasizes the high level of political dialogue between the countries.
    Irakli Garibashvili expressed hopes that the political and practical support of the Czech Republic will help Georgia in the next stages of ultimate accession to the European Union.
    The Prime Minister of Georgia informed the President of the Czech Republic about the steps taken by the Government of Georgia on the path of European integration and the dynamics of the implementation in view of 12 recommendations. According to him, Georgia deserves to receive the candidate status, which will contribute to the stable development of the country.

    Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met Charles Michel, President of the European Council today.

    The Head of Government of Georgia shared information with the President of the European Council about the implementation of 12 recommendations issued by the European Union (EU). According to him, Georgia has achieved progress in every direction and the Government did its best to meet the recommendations, thereby noting that progress continues further. At the meeting with Charles Michel, Irakli Garibashvili stated that all 4 topics identified by EU officials at the recent meeting in Tbilisi that are expected to advance by the end of September, will be addressed in line with the recommendations made by the European Commission. MP Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Ruling Party held a media briefing about it today.
    The Prime Minister of Georgia highlighted that the country has leading positions on its quest to EU integration, as evidenced by the reports of the EU and that commitments assumed by the country towards reforms on its path to EU integration are solid. He also noted that Georgia deserves a status of an EU Candidate Country amidst the current geopolitical setting and in line with a merits-based approach. Irakli Garibashvili expressed his gratitude to Charles Michel for the support demonstrated in the process of EU integration of Georgia.
