Turkmen team successfully performed at the Open Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Europe Cup in Plock, having won two gold, four silver and one bronze medals.
Student of National Institute of Sports and Tourism Dovran Atayev (up to 77 kg) and Batyr Bayramgeldiyevwho was the best in the weight category up to 61 kg were the champions of the tournament.
Yalkym Nuriyev won the silver in the weigh category up to 70 kg. Two students of National Institute of Sports and Tourism Gulshat Gylyjova (up to 55 kg) and Leyli Kazakova (up to 60 kg) as well as student of Turkmen State Architectural and Construction Institute Jahan Durdiyeva (up to 55 kg) also won silver medals.
Anna Bayramdurdiyeva won the bronze in the weight category up to 84 kg.
Therefore, all seven sportsmen of Turkmenistan national team participating in the tournament won different medals.

Cheyenne, Wyoming, 1 June 2018 – Sports fans across the US will be able to watch the first Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship since 1889 in Ultra HD, which will be delivered to Cable Pay TV providers and their 4K subscribers through iNDEMAND Pay-Per-View (PPV) via the SES Ultra HD platform.
SES announced today that the event, produced by Multivision Media, will be broadcast live from the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming on 2 June at 9 pm ET. The 4K event will be available nationally to cable and IPTV providers signed on to SES’s pre-packaged 4K solution.
The 4K event will be delivered on the SES Events channel, which is part of the UHD line-up hosted on the SES Ultra HD platform. This channel is dedicated to live events and is readily available for Pay TV operators in North America who would like to broadcast in 4K. Past sporting events that were delivered in UHD on the SES Events channel include Bellator: Sonnen vs. Silva Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
The all-in-one Ultra HD offering, currently serving close to 40 Pay TV systems with a collective audience of more than 40 million subscribers, combines a growing channel line-up, satellite distribution, and reception gear. Riding on its growing success, HD+ partners with Discovery Networks Germany to extend its offer and provide exclusive access to live sports games
Luxembourg, 4 August 2017 – HD+ subscribers will now be able to enjoy exclusive live football matches as well as Tennis Grand Slams, Cycling highlights and MotoGP, thanks to the extended offer of HD+ following a partnership with the leading media company Discovery Networks Germany, Eurosport’s parent company.
Under the new agreement with Discovery Networks Germany, SES’s German HD media platform HD+ is delivering a ‘Eurosport package’ offer, which includes access to the new sports channel Eurosport 2 HD Xtra and the Eurosport Player on any device. The Eurosport 1HD channel was added to the HD+ portfolio in 2016.
HD+ exceeded the two million subscribers landmark at the end of 2016, with a 15 percent year-on-year increase. The regular HD+ channel package comprises 23 encrypted HD channels of the largest commercial broadcasters in Germany, and is available for 70 EUR yearly. The Eurosport package is available for an additional 55 EUR yearly subscription.

The Committee heard the information on the project “Our Mentor”, aiming at development and establishment of the modern standards of physical culture.
The Director of the Center for Erudition, Giorgi Gogelia elucidated that the physical and mental education specialists will have individual approach to each beneficiary, issuing recommendations on the basis of the particular needs of physical education of the beneficiary, aiding youth in obtaining necessary information etc. The mentor will also recommend the trainee to various sports and educational organizations. The project does not aim at education of professional sportsmen but establishment of healthy lifestyle and physical activity.
According to the Chair, Mikheil Kavelashvili, “Parliament of Georgia is involved in ongoing tobacco control campaign. We also discuss drug-policy and try to find alternative for youth. Our attitude to this issue is clear. Healthy lifestyle is the only solution for youth, for our children to deliver them from bad habits. Our mission is to achieve universality and accessibility to physical activities. Healthy lifestyle starts when children in pre-school age are due informed about their possibilities. It requires projects. We also agree that old standards and methods shall be updated and this process includes challenges to be dealt with and implementation of this project will be one of the first steps in this direction”.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Issues, Trade Unions of Pedagogues and Sports Universities. They share the position that the problem is relevant and immediate preparation of infrastructure and training of pedagogue shall start.
