Prime Minister of Georgia Holds a Festive Reception for the Diplomatic Corps Accredited in Georgia
Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia held a festive reception for ambassadors and resident representatives of international organisations accredited in Georgia right before the New Year.
The Head of Government of Georgia expressed his gratitude to the diplomatic corps for their friendship with Georgia and Georgian people.
Irakli Garibashvili noted that the Government of Georgia highly appreciates the support demonstrated by them and their respective countries inter alia during the pandemic.
"On behalf of my government and the people of Georgia, let me thank you for everything you have been doing for our country and people" said the Head of Government of Georgia to diplomats.
Official reception was also attended by the members of the Government of Georgia.

The Embassy of Switzerland welcomes the adoption of the constitutional amendments
The Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia welcomes the adoption of the constitutional amendments and trusts that the new electoral system will increase the representation of the different layers of society, including the minorities, within the new Parliament. Switzerland will assist Georgia to set up a fair and transparent electoral campaign, based on mutual respect and constructive compromise, and calls on all political actors and media to refrain from personal attacks, including against the members of the diplomatic corps.
National Movement presented active program
United National Movement presented the active program to the diplomatic corps. The meeting was held in the central office of the party.
The member of the National Movement Salome Samadashvili said after the meeting that their program is anti-crisis plan for solving the main economic and social problems of Georgia.
“We have discussed our active program. We have also talked about social and economic problems, how to change the situation and make reforms,”-she said.
