Sofio Katsarava, Tamar Khulordava and the Ambassadors visited the Tech Park

The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sofio Katsarava and the Chair of the Committee on European Integration, Tamar Khulordava along with the Ambassadors of Estonia, Sweden, Lithuania and Latvia visited the Tech Park.
According to Ms. Katsarava, Tech Park, as the Centre for Innovations and Technologies of Georgia, allows establishment of new technologies as on local so on global markets and is competitive. “I had the greatest desire to introduce our innovative project to the Ambassadors, which was established in capacity of Tech Park in Georgia. It is an effective platform for realization of creative ideas, which is important for stimulation and motivation of our new generations. We also considered the visit of the Chairmen of the Parliaments of NB8 states scheduled in spring in Georgia”.
According to her, Tech Park is as well now operating in Zugdidi and will be further extended.

The Chair, Ms. Sofio Katsarava held the introductory meeting with the Ambassador at Large of Lithuania on EaP Issues, H.E. Jonas PaslauskasThe parties discussed EU aspiration of Georgia and future cooperation aspects. The Ambassador expressed commitment to actively cooperate with the new Parliament and the Committee, as well as to support EU integration of Georgia.
We value support of our international partners and express commitment for further cooperation therewith", - S. Katsarava stated.

The Committee considered the Regulation to be submitted to the Bureau. The Chair, Sofio Katsarava nominated Nino Goguadze as the First Deputy and Dimitri Tskitishvili from majority and Salome Samadashvili from minority as the Deputies.
The Chair thanked her colleagues actively cooperating during the preceding years as within the Committee so beyond with the international partners.
Our ambition and plan are to further enhance cooperation with international partners and institutions, to further enhance and strengthen bilateral Parliamentary relations with the partner countries. One of the components I want to underline is the strategic communication and maximal engagement of the population in these processes especially when we deal with the foreign course and relations in order to ensure correct understanding and feeling within the country about importance of consequent foreign course and reasons for connection thereof with our progress and welfare of population. I hope for maximal constructive and active cooperation to jointly implement outlined plans and protect the interests of our country”, - S. Katsarava stated.
