Corporate executives attending a forum in China's Xiamen say that Silk Road Shipping has been playing an important role in promoting maritime connectivity and deepening opening-up and cooperation.

Silk Road Shipping is an alliance jointly initiated in late 2018 by dozens of ports, carriers, and logistics service providers in countries along the Belt and Road.

15th International Silk Road Conference was held on October 9-10, 2020. Top professionals in the fields of Politics, Journalism, Economics, History, Art, Literature, Culture, Public Administration, Law, Business, and Technology shared their ideas on global and regional challenges and perspectives.
The conference provided its distinguished participants with a unique chance of discussions on important global and regional events and urgent problems.
We had 93 papers authored by 143 researchers from 54 institutions in 18 countries: Australia, Canada, China, Georgia, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Myanmar, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and United States.

14th International Silk Road Conference will be organized in Tbilisi, Georgia, October 11-12, 2019. Gathering of top professionals in the fields of Politics, Journalism, Economics, Public Administration, Law, Business, Technology, and History will cater for a wholesome environment dedicated to practices, challenges and opportunities we are experiencing in a globalized world.

The conference will provide its distinguished participants with a unique chance to initiate discussion on important global and regional events and urgent problems.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on working trip to Lebap Velayat, took part in the events dedicated to the start of International rally Amul – Hazar 2018.

This ecological rally raid along historical Silk Road, which used to run in the ancient times across our country connecting people, states and regions of Eurasian continent.

In our days, Turkmenistan not only revive the Silk Road in its new role - it becomes important transport hub of the region and turns into big international logistic centre. These intensions are steadily implemented due to favourable geographic location and transport policy of the Head of the State who makes topical initiatives and takes practical measures for their promotion.

For these purpose, transport infrastructure meeting international standards is created in the country, new highways and transnational railroads, railway and automobile bridges and new airports are built are built. Two big transit and transport facilities have been opened only for 2018, which is held in Turkmenistan under slogan “Turkmenistan – the Heart of the Great Silk Road”. These are Turkmenbashy International Seaport and Turkmenabat Airport.

New airport in Lebap Velayat is not only to satisfy growing demands of the region in air transportation services but also to highlight the status of the city on the bank of Amudarya River as an administration centre of the region, which turns into big industrial cluster of Turkmenistan these days. This city is the successor of ancient Amul, which used to be the crossroad of the routes to Iran, India and Eastern Europe. This is also the place where the rally will start running across all velayats of the country, great Karakum Desert and will finish in Avaza on the Caspian coast, the Hazar, as it was called in the past.

These days, Turkmenabat welcomes numerous guests from different parts of the world – the participants of the competitions, team members, journalists. Last preparation were made in starting camp before more than 80 crews have started their journey. They had thorough technical inspection certifying the vehicle and all gears (helmet, coverall, gloves, footwear) for the compliance with set standards.

In the afternoon, Turkmenabat hosted the briefing with the participation of Jean Louis Schlesser, Director of the race Rene Metz and famous sportsmen of the rally. The first road maps were handed over to the crew members.

Instructions on use of the GPS on the routes and other recommendations have been given as well as the rules and other details have been highlighted at the briefing. For example, Mr Schlesser made special mention that if the crew would help out to other team, which is in trouble on the route, the time spent for rendering of such help, will not be counted at the finish. The completion of the races has not exclude mutual support and help. Amul – Hazar rally has to be exemplary in this aspect. Referees of the competitions have been also introduced at the briefing. Mass media representatives from 25 countries took part in the briefing.

Colossal organization work was carried out from the beginning of the preparation of the rally, which has been launched by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the same place at the wall of ancient Amul Stronghold in Turkmenabat. Numerous presentations, which attracted keen interest of the world community to this unique project, have been held in foreign countries. It was just a matter of hours until the start of the race. It was forestalled by the parade of the participants of the competitions.

The ceremony took place at Baydak Square with the main flagpole of Lebap Velayat. Turkmenistan State Flag was flying on 100 meters height. Welcome signboards, bright banners with landscapes of Turkmen desert and symbols of the competitions were installed along the road to the square. The image of Vepaly the alabay, the symbol of the Asian Games, which was loved by everybody and who did not leave us after the completion of those competitions but entered new 2018, having become the symbol of the year of the Do, has also been displayed on the banners.

Tribune and arch-shaped construction, huge monitors and music systems have been installed on the square. Celebration atmosphere was created by joint popular orchestra of Lebap Velayat. Many people gathered at the square, as this is very important event in the history of the city and country.

The Speaker of the Parliament, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and deprtments, representatives of public organizations, foreign and national media, foreign ambassadors to Turkmenistan, businessmen and cultural personnel, Hyakim of Lebap Velayat, local residents and the elders gathered at the square. Everybody met the motorcade of the Head of the State with great enthusiasm.

The master of the ceremony gave floor to the President of Turkmenistan.

The Head of the State addressed the participants of the events with welcoming speech and congratulated cordially on the starting rally.

We make this international sport holiday named Amul – Hazar 2018 and welcome the sportsmen who came from other countries to participate in the competitions and all guests in Turkmen land, the Head of the State said.

In his speech, the President of Turkmenistan described the route of the rally, which total length is 1,571 kilometres.

Having congratulated the participants on the beginning of the rally and wished them success, the Head of the State invited French guest Jean Louis Schlesser, the General Director and Organizer of the famous Africa Eco Race who is also known as two-times winner of the World sport races and two-times winner of Paris – Dakar.

The Head of the State went to the tribune in front of special podium installed for ceremonial parade of the racing teams.

Jean Louis Schlesser entered the square on white convertible Lincoln. Having driven across the podium he broke in front of the tribune and addressed Turkmen leader, having at first expressed the gratitude for his idea about Amul – Hazar 2018 rally.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is big supporter of sports especially the motor races. Therefore, the sportsmen in this discipline and organizers of the competitions was very lucky, Mr Schlesser said. As a leader of organization team, he also expressed the gratitude for significant assistance and efficient support of great work that has been done for six months.

“I would like to express the gratitude to all participants who came, as coing together of more than 500 people of 25 nationalities for sedute competition is a feat”, - Mr Schlesser continued, having mentioned that excellent crews and racers with the world names have gathered there.

The gratitude has also been expressed to those who was involved in preparation work and in conduct of the rally, the specialists from Europe and Turkmenistan. 
In the end, Mr Schlesser wished successful race until the finish in Hazar to all crews.

After, the Head of the State gave start to ceremonial parade of the participants of International rally Amul – Hazar 2018.

The master of ceremony started announcing the countries and names of the racers. The parade was opened by the sportsmen of Turkmen team as the hosts of the competitions who drove across the podium on four light vehicles. Total, there will be 15 Turkmen crews in the rally.

After, the rest of the teams from dozens of the world countries drove by in alphabetic order. There were more than 150 pilots and navigators, most of them will compete in mixed composition, in other words, international teams.

The vehicles drove by the podium for about one and hag hour shining with polished bodies and nickel details under the beams of stage lights. There were many brands like Mini, Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Chevrolet, BMW, Peugeot, Opel, Porsche, Land Rover, Suzuki, Chrysler and other, the most reliable vehicle of the world motor industry. Undoubtedly, their engines and drives are totally different from regular series vehicles, which has only the same body. This is because the vehicles for the rally are reinforced, improvised and strengthened. Special crush protections are mounted, seats are replaced, fire suppression system is installed. 

The convoy of heavy vehicles drove by the podium. These were unconditional leaders among the heavy weights like KAMAZ, MAZ, GAZ, MAN. The procession was closed up by the crew of Turkmenistan national team again.

After the events, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left the place of the event.

18 по 22 декабря 2017 года в Китайском городе Ланьчжоу прошла информационно-познавательная программа «Дорога к Ланьчжоуской лапше с говядиной», с участьем редакторов и журналистов ряда зарубежных стран. Программа было осуществлено в рамках инициативы председателя Китайской Народной Республики Си Цзиньпина «Один пояс – один путь» /Экономический пояс Шелкового пути и Морской Шелковый путь/. Организаторами программы выступили - Отдел пропаганды городского комитета г. Ланьчжоу, Филиал Информационного агентства «Синьхуа» в Азиатско-тихоокеанском регионе и Филиал Информационного агентства «Синьхуа» в пров. Ганьсу.

Нужно сразу же отметить, что редактора и журналисты из Грузии, Армении, Азербайджана, России, Индонезии, Сингапура, Малайзии, Таиланда, Брунея, Мьянма, и Камбоджи провели в Ланьчжоу пять удивительных, и интереснейших дней, за что выражаем благодарность организаторам программы. Оны сделали все возможное, чтобы редактора и журналисты получили полную исчерпающую  информацию о политической, экономической, и культурной жизни г. Ланьчжоу и провинции Гансу.

Строительство Ланьчжоу началось в 86 году до н. э. Судя по историческим записям, город получил название «Золотой город», поскольку при возведении крепостных стен нашли золото, и в китайский язык вошло устойчивое выражение, которое дословно переводится «золотые стены и ров с кипятком», что характеризует неприступность Ланьчжоу. В те далекие времена Ланьчжоу был важным пунктом на Великом Шелковом пути. 

В рамках программы журналисты побывали в Ресторане Хунбинь под имени Цзиньдин и попробовали Ланьчжоускую лапшу с говядиной. Оны посмотрели шоу мастера по приготовлению, и с технологическим процессом Ланьчжоуской лапши с говядиной. Кроме того, организаторы устроили посещение и интервью на Индустриальной базе Ланьчжоуской лапши с говядиной под имени Цзиньвэйдэ. Получили информации о развитии Ресторанной сети ОсОО «Дунфангун».

Лапшу с говядиной по-ланьчжоуски любят не только жители этого города, она получила широкую известность и в других районах Китая и за рубежом. Ланьчжоусцы чрезвычайно гордятся этим фактом. В городе Ланьчжоу рестораны, где готовят лапшу с говядиной, встречаются на каждом шагу. Полные посетителями ресторанчики и вкусная лапша с говядиной стали неотъемлемой частью картины жизни утреннего Ланьчжоу. Чашка для лапши большая, в этом чувствуется щедрость местных жителей. В чашке - мясной бульон, кусочки белой редьки, красная соя, рубленный зеленый кориандр, лапша и говядина. Все это выглядит очень аппетитно. 

Приготовить лапшу с говядиной не так-то просто. Возьмем, к примеру, мясной бульон. Нужны десятки приправ для его приготовления. В разных ресторанах бульон готовят по-разному, поэтому он может быть разным по вкусу. Для сохранения оригинального вкуса своего мясного бульона известные рестораны держат его рецепт в секрете. Мастерство составления рецепта передается в семействе из поколения в поколение.

Прежде всего нужно замесить тесто, а затем – вытянуть лапшу. Чтобы овладеть данным мастерством обычно практикуются не один год. В ресторане нам показали всю процедуру изготовления лапши. Лапша по форме может быть широкая, круглая, толстая и тонкая. Самая широкая лапша похожа на кожаный ремень, а тонкая – на волос.

В настоящее время в Ланьчжоу более 1200 ресторанов, готовящих лапшу. Прибыль некоторых больших ресторанов составляет 40 миллионов юаней в год, даже многие мелкие, площадь которых составляет около 20 квадратных метров, за день зарабатывают до тысячи юаней и больше. Сегодня рестораны, специализирующиеся на лапше с говядиной, встречаются во многих районах Китая. В частности, многие известные рестораны открыли более 400 филиалов по всей стране, а также в США, Франции и Сингапуре. 

В ходе программы журналисты и редактора осмотрели современную международную портовую зону в г. Ланьчжоу пров. Ганьсу.  По информации администрации порта из административного центра провинции Ганьсу /Северо-Западный Китай/ г. Ланьчжоу в Центральную Азию, Южную Азию и Западную Европу было отравлено более 100  международных грузовых поездов "Ланьчжоу". По этому маршруту было перевезено 600 тыс тонн грузов на общую сумму более 500 млндолларов США. Позже был открыт еще один железнодорожный грузовой маршрут - Ланьчжоу-Гамбург. За первые девять месяцев, в Центральную Азию и Европу отправлены 63 международных грузовых поезда с грузами на общую сумму 300 млн долларов США. Из Ланьчжоу за рубеж вывозятся в основном строительные материалы, механическое оборудование, запчасти для бурения нефтерождений, предметы домашнего обихода, и автомобили. Благодаря международному грузовому маршруту "Ланьчжоу" провинция Ганьсу активно продвигает строительство Ланьчжоуской международной портовой зоны и создает сортировочный центр для импорта и экспорта товаров стран, участвующих в инициативе "Экономического пояса Шелкового пути".

Как известно Ланьчжоу политический, культурный, экономический и научный центр, второй по величине город на Северо-Западе Китая и единственный административный центр в Китае, через который протекает река Хуанхэ. Конечно же организаторы нам устроили посещение и интервью по Скульптуре матери-реки Хуанхэ, Моста Жонгшан, а   также Ланьчжоуского выставочного павильона городского планирования и развития. 

Жители Ланьчжоу называют главной достопримечательностью города скульптуру «Мать Хуанхэ»; когда стоишь рядом с ней, то испытываешь глубокое потрясение. От подножия скульптуры отходят плоты, изготовленные из надутых бараньих шкур, и если есть время, то можно прокатиться на «главном средстве передвижения по Хуанхэ». История плотов из бараньих шкур насчитывает более чем триста лет. Особенной популярностью они пользовались в самом конце династии Цин при Гуаньсюе, после чего это ремесло передавалось от поколения к поколению вплоть до наших дней. Целые бараньи шкуры завязываются так, чтобы получился мешок, и надуваются, а затем несколько таких надутых шкур нанизывают на деревянные шесты, и получается плот. Обычно на строительство одного плота уходит десять с лишним шкур. Летом на берегу Хуанхэ на пляжах и просто в тени деревьев расставляют столики, можно остановиться, взять чашечку зеленого чая или бутылочку местного густого йогурта, посидеть на берегу великой реки - это тоже очень интересно. 

К завершению нашей информационно-познавательной программы «Дорога к Ланьчжоуской лапше с  говядиной», прошел симпозиум по Ланьчжоуской лапше с говядиной, на которой присутствовали руководители отдела пропаганды городского комитета г. Ланьчжоу, филиала Информационного агентства «Синьхуа» в пров. Ганьсу, а также директора ресторанов по приготовлению Ланьчжоуской лаппши  с говядиной. Более 1,5 часа журналисты задавали вопроси, на которой присутствующие на симпозиуме ответственные лица отвечали с радостью. Исходя из этого, можно смело сказать, что двенадцать представителей международной прессы получили полную информацию и остались довольны участьем в информационно-познавательной программе «Дорога к Ланьчжоуской лапше с  говядиной».

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia, Ji Yanchi, at the meeting held at the Ministry, discussed the details of the Silk Road Forum to be hold in Tbilisi, on 28-29 November.

Preparation works and other organizational issued regarding the scheduled Tbilisi Silk Road Forum were the main topics of the conversation. 

At the same time, Giorgi Gakharia summarized his visit to the People’s Republic of China, whose main purpose was the participation in the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. During the visit to Beijing, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia signed the Free Trade Agreement between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China. At the meeting with the Ambassador, it was once again noted that the Agreement will put the economic relations of the two countries on a new level and facilitate the deepening of the trade and economic relations between them.

Giorgi Gakharia, during the visit, had several significant meetings including the meeting with the Minister of Commerce of China, who confirmed the readiness of the Chinese side to support the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will be held for the second time this year and it will be the logical prolongation continuation of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in China.

First Tbilisi Silk Road Forum was held in 2015 where more than thousand participants represented over 30 countries. Chinese delegation was composed of high-rank government officials and up to 300 representatives of large Chinese companies.
