Nodar Khaduri, Davit Bakradze, Nodar Javakhishvili, Ilia Eloshvili and Gela Dumbadze will not be in the new Cabinet of Minister. As the Acting Prime Minister stated today, he thanks to them for their work and says that they will stay in the ruling team.
According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Davit Bakradze will be Georgian Ambassador to US, Ilia Eloshvili will continue his work as the Deputy Energy Minister. As for the State Minister for Diaspora Issues, Mikheil Janelidze will lead it as the Foreign Minister.
According to the Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri the Prime Minister of Georgia will decide who the next Finance Minister will be.
“I am the Finance Minister now and the next Minister will be chosen by Giorgi Kvirikashvili,”-he told to reporters.
According to reports, Dimitri Kumsishvili may change Nodar Khaduri.
According to reports, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Nodar Javakhishvili will leave post. As it is reported, the decision is already made in the ruling party.
There are no potential candidates who should be the next Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
As it is reported, there are some non-official informations on changes in minister’s cabinet. Including which the Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri will leave the post. Dimitri Kumsishvili will change him. Giorgi Gakharia will lead Economy Ministry. As for the State Minister of European and EU Integration of Georgia, Davit Bakradze will be changed by Viktor Dolidze. He is the former member of Free Democrats.
Georgia to intensify cooperation in the customs area with Turkey - respective decision was enunciated during the meeting of Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Minister of Customs and Trade of Turkey Bülent Tüfenkci. The parties outlined importance of the Joint Declaration between Georgia and Turkey aiming at intensification of the bilateral cooperation in the customs area.
According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, respective declaration is important in terms of supporting bilateral trade, popularization of international trade and ensuring safe supply line in the region. Pursuant to him, effectiveness of each of the infrastructural projects is largely dependent on customs procedures.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili hoped that respective initiative will significantly simplify the bilateral trade, customs procedures among the representatives of both countries' business sectors and enable them to enjoy simplified procedures.
The parties discussed potential in trade and economic fields. It was noted that Turkey remains to be Georgia's main trade partner. Conversation also touched upon prospects of increasing Georgian export to Turkey.
Minister of Finance of Georgia Nodar Khaduri and the General Director of Georgian railway Mamuka Bakhtadze attended the meeting held at the Administration of the Government.
The Finance Minister of Georgia met with the Ambassador of Federal Republic of German to Georgia Heike Renate Paich. According to reports, Nodar Khaduri and Heike Renate Paich summed up dinamics in past years and discussed future cooperation issues.
Nodar Khaduri thanked to the Ambassador for support of KfW Development Bank and GIZ society in energy and communal, agriculture, education and business sector. As Nodar Khaduri said, German Federal Republic is important supporter of Georgia in all of the sectors.

According to him, this team proved its honesty. The team, as Ivanishvili said, has an experience and works for people. As former Prime Minister stated, the most unpopular minister is Khaduri but he is good Finance Minister.
“The people counted everything he ate but there is no corruption in the ministry. Khaduri should be financed but he has no rates today,”-Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
The agreement “Mobilization of internal resources to improve inclusive growth program“ was signed between Asian Development Bank and Georgia today. The document was signed by the Finance Minister of Georgia Nodar Khaduri and the permanent representative of Asian Development Bank to Georgia Yesim Elhan-Kayalar.
In the frames of the program, Asian Development Bank will allocate 100 million US dollars of financial resources to Georgia. The main goal of the program is increasing state and private investments.
We want the population of Georgia to believe in that budget is their document- this statement was made by the Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri commenting principally different budget format planned to implement.
“We are working on this issue. The program has been developed and we are trying to bear in mind the wishes of people. It seems that this is beginning it will be implemented in the local budgets level,”-Nodar Khaduri, the Minister of Finance of Georgia said.
I absolutely agree with the President of the National Bank Georgian GEL should be priority for the currency for US- the Minister of Finance Nodar Khaduri said after commenting of the statement of the National Bank of Georgia, Koba Gventadze.
According to Gvenetadze, residents have to get used to live without the US dollar and the national currency should be a priority for Georgians. The main challenge is to restore confidence of Georgian Gel.
H.E. Nodar Khaduri, Minister of Finance of Georgia met with the Executive and Alternative Directors (EDs and ADs) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on their official visit to Georgia on June 14, 2016.
Parties discussed the projects financed by the ADB, performance under current programs and new venues of cooperation.
“Delegation of Executive Directors of the Asian Development Bank is visiting Georgia. It includes ED for the Australian Constituency, who covers Georgia in the Board of ADB. EDs from the People’s Republic of China and an Acting ED for USA are also in the visiting team. They are getting exposed to the projects implemented in Georgia by the ADB. We talked about the prospects of our future cooperation. It is important that we have absolute support of the Bank towards the policies and directions that are discussed by the national authorities of Georgia. I need to note that ADB has already invested around 1 billion USD in our country and we are optimistic that it will further pursue its active cooperation with Georgia along with other international financial institutions” noted the Minister of Finance of Georgia.
“It is our first visit to Georgia. Asian Development Bank has a very fruitful cooperation with the Government of Georgia. We are optimistic that this partnership will further continue to achieve the sustainable development goals. We stand ready to provide both financial and technical support and assistance to the country” added Mr. Zhonjing Wang, Executive Director of the ADB.
Meeting held at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia (MOF) was also attended by Ms. Yesim Elhan-Kayalarv, Country Director of ADB.
Meetings of the ADB Delegation are planned with members of the Executive Authority of Georgia within the scope of the official visit to the country.
