The officers of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained resident of Batumi Shmagi Sh. (DoB 1990) at Sarpi border checkpoint for illegal purchase and keeping and illegal import of drugs on the territory of Georgia.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 11,331 gr of drug substance which according to expertise contains 4,5365 gr of heroin.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

The officers of Imereti Regional Main Division as a result of operative activities held simultaneously in several places detained 4 persons: administrator of Chinese massage, citizen of China 1984 Lengsue. Tch ( 1984), owner of Kolkheti hotel Nana A. (DoB 1960), administrator of the Chinese massage, citizen of China Guankhuei Sh. (DoB 1961) and administrator of “Voktoria” hotel Marine G. (DoB 1959) for providing lodging to prostitution.
Investigation established that the accused persons periodically provided lodging to prostitution for certain amount of cash. Law enforcers already questioned female workers of the mentioned facilities.

During the personal search of the detainee law enfrcers seized 529 codeine pills. Drug test revealed that detainee was drug addicted person.

The officers of Mestia police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Sverian K. (DoB 1951) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During searching activities held in detainee’s warehouse located in his orchard policemen seized “AKC” automatic weapon, 5 cartridges and 356 bullets. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

3 persons were datained by Georgian MIA: citizen of Brazil – Luisa Dos S. (DoB 1985) Karine E. (DoB 1980) and citizen of South African Republic Odette V. (DoB 1985) for illegal import of drugs in especially large quantities on the territory of Georgia.
The mentioned persons were detained at Tbilisi International Airport in an attempt to illegally import drugs in especially large quantities on the territory of Georgia. Police seized 4 kilograms and 794,68 gr of cocaine from Luisa Dos S. and Karine E. which was wrapped in 10 packages. While searching the luggage of Odotte V. 14 kg and 835 gr of marijuana was detected. Detainees have already pleaded guilty.

Ramin A. (DoB 1980) was detained by Geogrian MIA in Ponitchala for illegal purchase, keeping and selling drugs.
Investigation established that detainee sold drugs on the regular basis. Law enforcers also found out that detainee sold one package of drug the day before his arrest which according to expertise contained 0,0031 gr of heroin. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained one person for stealing.
The detainee illegally penetrated one of the rooms of “Olymp” hotel located in Shekvetili settlement and stole Samsung made mobile phone owned by a certain citizen. Two hours later the same person stole another mobile phone from “Guria Palace” hotel and left the crime scene.
Law enforcers detained Mikheil K. as a result of immediate operative-searching activities several hours later. During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized the stolen mobile phones as evidences. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

CT park employees who were detained yesterday, by Georgian MIA have left the pre-trial detention.
All tree employees of CT Park are released, the court decided not to charge the detainees, but the investigation will continue.
Operative Response Center 112 received report according to which employees of CT park evacuated “Toyaota” made vehicle from Eliava open market to the parking lot assigned for vehicles which violated parking rules. It was also reported that vehicle was evacuated supposedly with a child in it. Patrol officers arrived at the parking lot as soon as the report was received, where they found out that in the moment of evacuation the citizen of France child born in 2004 was sleeping in the vehicle.
One person was detained by Georgian MIA in Kvemo Kartli Region, in Tetritskaro.
Detainee along with armed accomplices was stealing copper contact wire and cables from the 12th km of Marabda-Kartsakhi railway sector. Up on arrival of the police at the place of crime officers came under the gun firing from the side of the accomplices of Iuri B. they manages to leave the place of crime while Iuri B. was detained at the scene. At this moment law enforcers are holding operative-investigative activities in order to detain others involved in the mentioned crime.
Police has seized the stolen items as evidence, worth of 7300 GEL. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Due to the deteriorated weather, causing the increase of the River Arghuni level, the Bridge leading to Knonistchala village was dismantled due to which the road to Mutso has been blocked. Border guards of the first border sector (Mutso) under VI division (Barisakho) of Border Police and Kakheti Regional Division of Emergency Situations Management Agency have been mobilized at the place. Rescuers are actively holding road clean-up activities.
Till the end of road and bridge rehabilitation works the traffic movement will be temporary blocked from Shatili to Mutso as well as movement on pedestrian routes. Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on tourists and civilians to abstain from moving to the mentioned direction.
