No need for importing Iranian Natural Gas- Kakha Kaladze

Following the agreement signed with SOCAR, there is no necessary to import natural gas from Iran- the Energy Minister, Vice-Prime Minister, Kakha Kaladze said today after meeting with the President of SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev.
According to him, Georgian side had begun negotiations in parallel with Iran because there have been some technical problems with Azerbaijan.
“We met each other and talked about the possibility of Iranian gas import. In theory, the possibility exists but there is no need. We have our strategic partner countries, companies have signed an agreement that will provide Georgia with gas supply and market satisfaction," -said Kaladze.
