Only the way of coming to power is through the ballot box, all other methods are illegal –this statement made the US Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly.
According to him, all of us should highlight free and fair election process. All the right should be protected.
“Only the way of coming to power is through the ballot box, all other methods are illegal,”-he said. According to Ian Kelly, any kind of intimidation of the political parties or the government is totally unacceptable.

Georgia should stop Russian aggression. Georgia needs the support of United States –this statement was made by the US Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly. As he noted, the conference held yesterday about changing geopolitical landscape is too important to discuss such issues.
“US support Georgia’s Euro Atlantic way and helps development of this country. Georgia should stop Russian aggression and it needs US support. In the frames of John Kerry visit in Tbilisi bilateral agreement on this issue was signed. Both sides are working on its implementation now,”-Ian Kelly said.

It is shameful to arrange the so-called borders in the world which is modern – this statement was made by the US Ambassador to Georgia. According to Ian Kelly, Washington does not recognize the so-called borders and it respects territorial unite of Georgia.
The Ambassador made the comment in response to the closure of the administrative border by the occupied Tskhinvali region.

According to US Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly, US support the decision made in 2008 in Bucharest Georgia to become the member state of NATO.
“We know that US Secretary of State John Kerry visited Georgia a few days ago. One of the main massages was that we all support Georgia to become the member state of NATO. The Prime Minister, the President and the Speaker of Georgia confirmed the Euro-Atlantic Integration way of Georgia today,”-Ian Kelly said.

“Of course, Ian Kelly is worried about nothing to happen before the parliamentary elections in Georgia”-this statement was made by the Former Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili today at the meeting with the journalists.
"I would like to respond to the statement by Ian Kelly. By the way, yesterday I had a meeting with him. I had heard the concerns of him. This fact that 3-4 months before the election is aggressive in the way of Rustavi 2 case, is not desirable. Nobody can understand us in Europe and US. This is really right position,”-Ivanishvili said.
As Ex-Prime Minister said, he didn’t like some massages in the statement of the Ambassador.
“He is critical to Nika Gvaramia. He is quite sincere. USA is the main partner of us and Ian Kelly assesses the situation in the point of view of his country. We had same polemic yesterday and I don’t agree with him but I see that he wants our country to develop in the right way,”-Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
