ZHUHAI, China, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force displayed an array of its equipment and weapons including aircraft, drones and missiles at the 14th Airshow China in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.
The PLA Air Force's signature aircraft such as J-20 stealth fighter jets and a YU-20 tanker aircraft took part in the flying display at the airshow that opened Tuesday.

Demir Sarman, head of the Federation of Food and Drink Industry Associations of Türkiye, said China has switched from exporting cheap textiles and household consumer goods to providing high-tech products, and has taken a giant step forward.
Sarman believes that the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a giant platform, where businesses across the globe meet and create new partnerships.
A total of 70.72 billion U.S. dollars worth of tentative deals were reached for one-year purchases of goods and services at the CIIE last year.
Sarman said that "the importance of the CIIE for the region and the world is indisputable." His federation, the umbrella organization of Türkiye's food and beverage industry, is participating in the CIIE for the first time.

BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- China's space station lab module Mengtian successfully completed in-orbit transposition at 9:32 a.m. (Beijing Time) Thursday, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
This transposition marked the formation of the space station's basic T-shape configuration, representing a key step toward the completion of China's space station, said the agency.
The Mengtian lab module first completed its state setting and then separated from the space station combination. Mengtian next conducted transposition and docked at the side port of the Tianhe core module's node cabin.

GLOBALink | China's 39th Antarctic expedition begins
SHANGHAI, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- China's research icebreaker Xuelong 2, or Snow Dragon 2, set off from Shanghai on Wednesday, marking the start of the country's 39th Antarctic expedition.
A total of 255 researchers will carry out investigations in the fields of atmospheric composition, water environment, sedimentary environment and ecosystem at the South Pole, and will arrive in two batches, with the second batch setting out on Oct. 31, 2022.
The expedition team is expected to return to China in early April next year.
With a total length of about 122 meters, a width of about 22 meters, a designed displacement of nearly 14,000 tonnes and an endurance of 20,000 nautical miles, Xuelong 2 is China's first domestically built icebreaker for polar research.
