14th International Silk Road Conference will be organized in Tbilisi, Georgia, October 11-12, 2019. Gathering of top professionals in the fields of Politics, Journalism, Economics, Public Administration, Law, Business, Technology, and History will cater for a wholesome environment dedicated to practices, challenges and opportunities we are experiencing in a globalized world.
The conference will provide its distinguished participants with a unique chance to initiate discussion on important global and regional events and urgent problems.
The conference is open to local as well as international participants. SR-2019 is hosting 78 papers from 16 countries.

As the member of Free Democrats Victor Dolidze said, the result of UK Referendum is not good for European Economics, European Security and Great Britain. According to him, the day have begin with bad news in the international media and society.
“If you have read the comments made by the world leaders and experts, they say that a lot of disasters may be caused by the result of the referendum. But this is the choice of Britain people and this is free choice. We should respect it,”-Victor Dolidze said.
The Committee heard the report by the Secretary General of Ice Hockey Federation, Alexander Vashakidze, in details speaking about development and current situation of the Federation.
The Federation, regardless of impediments, managed to increase qualification of the coaches, preparation of young players and participation in world competitions. The Federation, being the full-fledged member of the World Federation, has outlined significant objectives: dignified participation of the national team on international competitions, winning the third division of the World Championship and transmission to the second division, formation of age teams (under 20 and under 18) of boys and girls (under 18), inclusion of Georgian referees in the world championships, establishment of the Black Sea League etc. These objectives require due functioning infrastructure and finances developed in various cities, enabling promotion of Hockey, healthier next generations etc.
The representatives of the Ministries of Regional Development and of Economics expressed their opinions that the standard skating area will soon be constructed in Tbilisi.
The Chair, Leri Khabelovi noted that the Parliament and the Committee will render support to the Federation in terms of engagement of the foreign couches and recruitment of local personnel.
The sitting was attended by the representatives of Tbilisi and Kutaisi City Halls and City Councils, the Ministries of Regional Development and of Economics.
