The sides highlighted that the Georgia-Armenia high-level political dialogue and the friendly relations between the Heads of Government of the two countries will contribute to the further development of cooperation.
Discussions focused on the current issues on the agenda of relations between Georgia and the Republic of Armenia. The sides exchanged views on the possibilities of strengthening trade-economic relations and steps to be taken in this direction.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Prime Minister of Armenia welcomed the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Today, at the Government Administration, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili submitted the EU questionnaire's completed part one to Carl Hartzell.
"I am honored to submit to you our answers to the European Commission's questionnaire, to prepare an opinion on Georgia's EU membership bid," the Prime Minister said.
The EU Ambassador wished success to Georgia and emphasized that it is a great honor to be part of this milestone process.
"I would like to express my deep gratitude and underline that it is a great honor to be part of this momentous event and stand by you down this path to your civilizational choice," Carl Hartzell said.
According to the Head of Government, the Government of Georgia, all relevant institutions, continues working intensively on filling the questionnaire's second, sectoral part comprising 33 chapters and up to 2,300 questions. The Georgian Government wants to submit part two of the questionnaire to the EU earlier than expected, with the institutions poised to spare no effort to that end, Irakli Garibashvili added.
After accepting the completed questionnaire, the European Commission will set out to prepare its assessment, to be subsequently referred to the Council of the European Union, which is expected to make a relevant decision in late June.

Zahony, a town that locates within 100 km to five borders with five countries in northeastern Hungary, has become an important hub for China-Europe freight trains to enter the EU.

Norbert Csomos, managing director of MAV-REC Railway Engineering Cooperation Ltd., has witnessed the development in Zahony, where the first container train from China arrived in July 2017.

MAV-REC, Zahony Port Ltd. and Central Europe Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone (CECZ) have formed a consortium to jointly promote the construction of the Central Europe Logistics Industrial Zone (CELIZ) project in Zahony.

The project aims at building a modern multimodal logistics center in Europe. The Zahony transshipment station will also be renovated and expanded.

The President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Miloš Vystrčil serves the official visit to Georgia accompanied by the Delegation. According to the administration of the Parliament of Georgia a high-level guest was met by the First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski and the Head of the Georgia-Czech Friendship Group, Irakli Chikovani at the Airport.

RNDr. Vystrčil will hold his first meeting of the visit with the Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili. After the meeting, the Speakers will make a joint statement for the media.

The visit of Czech politicians also includes the meetings with the Parliamentary opposition Factions, Political Groups and the Majority MPs. The Czech MPs will also meet with their Georgian counterparts.

The visit envisages the participation of RNDr. Vystrčil in the opening ceremony of the Czech-Georgian Business Forum. The Czech MPs will visit the village Odzisi at the occupation line. The meetings are scheduled with the representatives of the executive authority.
