Lieutenant Ruslan Dolidze, Senior Inspector of the Boarding Team of the MIA Border Police Coast Guard Department, successfully completed a one-year Navy Officer’s Course at the Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC).

The graduation ceremony, held in Dartmouth, was attended by Prince Charles, Prince of Wales.

From the Georgian side, the Director of the Border Police Coast Guard Department, CAPT Ramaz Papidze attended the graduation ceremony. CAPT Papidze congratulated the Coast Guard Officer on the successful completion of the course and wished him success in his career.

Within the framework of his visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Director of the Coast Guard Department held various working meetings. CAPT Papidze met with the Deputy Commander for NATO Maritime Command (MARCOM), Vice Admiral Didier Piaton, Commander of the Britannia Royal Naval College, CAPT Roger Readwin, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Sophie Katsarava.

On January 11, an extraordinary online meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States was held with the participation of Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

R.Meredov, speaking at the meeting, noted the importance of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Istanbul on November 12, 2021.

In this regard, it was noted that President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in his speech at the Summit, emphasized: “The people of our countries are united by common values of long-term historical roots aimed at ensuring peace, stability and mutual understanding”.

The minister said that based on this fundamental approach, Turkmenistan will continue to work closely with all member states of the Organization to maintain lasting peace and security, which guarantees economic, social and humanitarian development in the countries of the region.

Speaking about the events of recent days in Kazakhstan, R.Meredov emphasized that Turkmenistan is interested in the soonest normalization of the situation in this country, in further stable socio-political and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan. He expressed a firm conviction that such qualities as wisdom, foresight, deep respect for the customs and traditions of the ancient Kazakh people will serve as a solid foundation for resolving all issues arising in the constitutional and legal framework and in line with international norms.

Expressing his wishes for peace and prosperity to the Kazakh people, R. Meredov assured that Turkmenistan will make all necessary efforts to achieve this goal.

At the same time, Turkmenistan, as a neutral state recognized by the international community, is ready to provide any support to the people of Kazakhstan in the economic, social and humanitarian spheres.

In this regard, R.Meredov said that Turkmenistan is ready to begin exports of natural gas to the Republic of Kazakhstan, starting in March this year. In addition, it was noted that Turkmenistan is also ready to provide brotherly Kazakhstan with the necessary amount of electricity.

11 января, состоялась внеочередная онлайн-встреча Министров иностранных дел Организации тюркских государств, в котором принял участие Заместитель Председателя Кабинета Министров, Министр иностранных дел Туркменистана Рашид Мередов.

Р.Мередов, выступая на встрече, отметил значение Саммита Организации тюркских государств, состоявшегося в Стамбуле 12 ноября 2021 года.

В этой связи, было отмечено, что Президент Туркменистана Гурбангулы Бердымухамедов в своём выступлении на Саммите подчеркнул: «Народы наших стран объединяют общие ценности, имеющие многолетние исторические корни, направленные на обеспечение мира, стабильности и взаимопонимания».

Министр заявил, что, основываясь на этом фундаментальном подходе, Туркменистан продолжит тесное сотрудничество со всеми государствами-членами Организации для поддержания прочного мира и безопасности, что гарантирует экономическое, социальное и гуманитарное развитие в странах региона.

Говоря о событиях, происходивших в последние дни в Казахстане, Р.Мередов особо отметил, что Туркменистан заинтересован в скорейшей нормализации обстановки в этой стране, в дальнейшем стабильном общественно-политическом и социально-экономическом развитии Казахстана. Была выражена твёрдая убежденность, что такие качества, как мудрость, дальновидность, глубокое уважение к обычаям и традициям древнего казахского народа, послужат прочной основой для решения всех возникающих вопросов в конституционно-правовом поле и в соответствии с международными нормами.

Выразив пожелания мира и благополучия казахскому народу, Р.Мередов заверил, что для достижения этой цели, Туркменистан приложит все необходимые усилия.

При этом Туркменистан, как нейтральное государство, признанное мировым сообществом, готов оказать любую поддержку народу Казахстана в экономической, социальной и гуманитарной сферах.

В связи с этим, Р.Мередов заявил, что Туркменистан готов начать экспортные поставки природного газа в Республику Казахстан, начиная с марта текущего года. Кроме того, было отмечено, что Туркменистан также готов обеспечить братский Казахстан необходимым количеством электроэнергии.
