Azerbaijan and Turkey were among the countries that supported Georgia in the UN
On September 3, the UN General Assembly adopted the resolution entitled “Status of Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia and the Tskhinvali Region/South Ossetia, Georgia”. As Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted, this year the document had unprecedented support – has been supported by 84 member states, only 13 opposed. Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili expressed her gratitude to all 84 countries that have stood next to Georgia this year.
It is noteworthy that our neighboring Azerbaijan and Turkey have once again expressed support for Georgia, joining the global call to ensure the observance of the rights of the Georgian population expelled from Abkhazia and Samachablo. With Russia's position, everything is clear. But Armenia acted in a very non-trivial way – it did not take part in the voting. It is difficult to imagine that the immediate neighbor of our country, who assures of friendship in the course of bilateral contacts, is poorly informed about the state of affairs of internally displaced persons in Georgia. However, Yerevan has avoided expressing a clear position on this issue.

On November 25 in accordance with a ceasefire agreement Armenians left the Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan
On November 25 2020 in accordance with a ceasefire agreement Armenians left the Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan which they occupied in 1993 during the first Karabakh war.
The Armenian army and population had to leave Kalbajar by November 15. For some reason, the Armenian side asked to extend the deadline for the evacuation of the population and the army until November 25, and Azerbaijan, postponed the deadline due to humanitarian reasons.
However, Armenians apparently damaged the environment and burned houses in Kalbajar.
This is an environmental crime that causes serious damage to the ecological situation of the region and the planet in general.
Azerbaijani side urged the world community, international organizations, including the international organizations working in the field of ecology and environmental protection to stop Armenia that used environmental terrorism, confirmed by the facts of local and foreign media, as a tool for its aggressive actions and called for drastic measures to prevent eco-terrorism committed by the aggressor Armenia.
At the same time, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR) addressed a total of 31 international organizations working in the field of ecology and environmental protection to assess these cases.
It should be noted that the Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan was occupied by Armenians in 1993. At that time, more than 60,000 Azerbaijanis had to leave their homes in less than 10 hours.
