Director of the Patrol Police Department – Goga Razmadze and president of Georgian Automobile Federation – Shota Abkhazava have held meeting on Rustavi motor-racing circuit with drivers who were fined for speeding. The meeting was held within the frames of the week dedicated to traffic safety and UN-organized, fourth global week also dedicated to the same topic.
Organizers of the event once again emphasized risks and threats that are results of the traffic safety rule violations, including exceeding the allowed speed limits.
“As you know, Ministry of Internal Affairs launched traffic safety week. Today’s meeting is also held within this week. You are aware that Data Kajaia-member of the MIA Force club is the official face of the traffic safety campaign. He is a professional racer and it is his profession to increase the speed limits to maximum at the circuit. However, in real life he is a law obedient citizen while driving. I believe that with your support, all drivers who are speeding in the streets, will test themselves on Rustavi International Car Circuit and leave their adrenaline here. I wish you safe and mindful driving”-stated Patrol Police Department Director Goga Razmadze. At the end of the meeting drivers were given allowance to test their vehicle on the circuit.
