Government Discussing Agreement with Gazprom
Today the Government of Georgia will discuss the agreement reached in negotiations with Gazprom. According to Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze will make a statement on the decision of the Government.
Today Kakha Kaladze returned from Minsk, where he negotiated with Gazprom.

“This means Russian influence on our government. Shah Deniz international consortium have gave us 500 million cubic meters of gas and and allowed us gas handling in the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline. Despite that Georgian Government had capitulated. This means private interests,”- Roman Gotsiridze said. -
Agreement with Gazprom is maximum-Kumsishvili
The agreement with Gazprom is maximum-this statement was made by the First Vice-Prime Minister. According to Mikheil Kumsishvili, unexistence of the agreement from 1 January should be highlighted.
“Nothing was regulated our relationship. We have begun from zero. Its politically important that we have maintained energy defence. Azerbaijan is still strategic partner of us,”-Dimitri Kumsishvili said. -
GAZPROM-Georgia Agreement will officially enter into force soon
The Energy Ministry will present the document received from Russian company GAZPROM and the agreement will officially enter into force. According to Energy Ministry, Georgia had already agreed the final text with GAZPROM. The document had been already sent from GAZPROM.
“The agreement was made between the sides. The text means that Georgia will receive the 10% of oil. The documents have being discussed in Legal procedures and it will enter into force soon.”-it is said in the Ministry of Energy.

The member of United National Movement Giga Bokeria believes that Georgian loyal policy to Russian government damages the national interests.
Giga Bokeria talked about the ongoing negotiations to Gazprom and noted that by these negotiations Georgia looks weak to its main political enemy, Russia. According to him, This agreement is unprofitable.
“Lots of nonsense and stupidity were said about Gazprom so I can’t highlight only one of them. By the incompetence and loyalty to Russia our national interests are affected. This process will be long-term. By doing so, we seem to be weaker to our main political enemy,”-said Giga Bokeria
