• Children living in Kaspi will go to rehabilitated kindergartens

  Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Tengiz Shergelashvili, together with the representatives of the local government  inspected rehabilitated kindergartens in Kaspi, financed from the Fund of Regional Projects. 
  In 2014-2016,  26  kindergartens have been fully rehabilitated in the town of Kaspi.  Within the frameworks of rehabilitation damaged and amortized kindergarten buildings have been renovated. Dining rooms have been rehabilitated and in, all 26 kindergartens central heating system has been installed. As a result, 1 391 912 GEL have been spent on rehabilitation works and in 2016 almost 1572 kids  will be able to walk  to modern nursery schools, instead 1040, as it was in 2013.  

• Chiaturian kids will go to rehabilitated kindergartens

  Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Tengiz Shergelashvili, together with the representatives of the local government  inspected rehabilitated kindergartens in Chiatura , financed from the Fund of Regional Projects. 
  In 2015-2016,  5 kindergarten have been fully rehabilitated in the town of Chiatura.  Within the frameworks of rehabilitation damaged and amortized kindergarten buildings have been renovated. Dining rooms have been rehabilitated and in, all three kindergarten central heating system has been installed. As a result, 869 114 GEL have been spent on rehabilitation works and in 2016 almost 1640 kids  will be able to walk  to modern nursery schools, instead 900, as it was in 2009.  

• Conference on the regional and local development issues

  Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Tengiz Shergelashvili and UNDP Resident Representative in Georgia Neil Scott opened the two-day conference related to regional and local development issues.
  Results of the SGP over the 2015-16 have been summarized on the conference. The grants allowed NGOs and community organizations to implement the projects aimed to increase civic engagement and socio-economic development of the country. The program included 6 regions - Guria, Racha-Kvemo Svaneti, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Imereti.
  Together with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, "Civil Development Agency" (CIDA) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Swiss Cooperation Office (SCO) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADC) were actively involved during the process of the program implementation.

  According to him, Bidzina Ivanishvili is involved in political campaign and the politicians and political parties criticize each other in this process.
